Kristin Hills Bradberry Partner

Kristin Hills Bradberry has worked in philanthropy for the last 30 years, predominantly in higher education and the arts. After working at the University of Richmond, she served her alma mater, Davidson College, as Vice President for College Relations, overseeing the $250 million Let Learning Be Cherished comprehensive campaign. She was the campaign director for the Arts and Science Council $83 million endowment campaign to support new and renovated cultural facilities in Charlotte, now known as Levine Center for the Arts.

For the last eight years, Kristin has worked as an advisor for non-profits on fundraising strategy and for philanthropists on meaningful and strategic giving. She has served on many nonprofit boards and is immediate Past Chair of Blumenthal Performing Arts. She also serves on the boards of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church Endowment, Nalle Clinic Foundation and Share Charlotte. She chaired the Search Committee for the 18th President of Davidson College. She has been honored by AFP of Charlotte as National Fundraiser of the Year and by the Charlotte Hornets with their Community Hero Award.

Patricia Higgins Martin Partner

Pat has worked in all aspects of fundraising, public relations, institutional awareness, and relevant organizational development for the last 30 years. She works with a particular focus on positioning in the philanthropic marketplace using a strengths-based approach. Pat also has significant experience with start-up development efforts.

Her independent work for nonprofits follows a 15-year career in fundraising and public relations.

Recent campaigns include $27 million endowment and capital campaign for HopeWay Center. Grant writing includes state, local and governmental grants including several grants of $1 million+. Local grants include Leon Levine Foundation, the Dickson Foundation and The Duke Endowment. Successful approaches for national grants including the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation along with state and federal grants.

Pat was the first Development Director of the North Carolina Blumenthal Performing Arts Center and served as Director of Annual Giving at Davidson College. Her fundraising career began in two state-wide gubernatorial campaigns. She and her husband Jim are the proud parents of two grown-ups, Kathren and James.

Patricia C. Zoder Partner

From fundraising, talent recruitment and grant management, Patricia has dedicated her career to serving nonprofit clients.

As a managing director with Sockwell Partners, Patricia gained experience in executive search. She focused on the nonprofit sector helping leaders in healthcare, human services, arts and economic development organizations. Prior to joining Sockwell, Patricia accumulated over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, including fundraising, project management, board governance, evaluation, and communications.

As a trust and fiduciary specialist for Wells Fargo Philanthropic Services, she managed nonprofit and foundation relationships and provided expertise around grant management, board governance, gift policies and planned giving.

Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Patricia was executive director of Crossroads Charlotte at Foundation for the Carolinas, a long-range public engagement initiative. Her responsibilities included project oversight, implementation of a strategic communications plan and overseeing the development of evaluation and assessment tools, and fundraising. Patricia also served as Vice President of the Annual Fund Drive for Arts & Science Council, helping to secure over $100 million for Charlotte’s cultural community.

Patricia received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Business and her MBA from Wake Forest University. She recently led the Charlotte Area Alumni Association and is a member of the current capital campaign committee. Patricia serves on the YWCA of the Central Carolinas Board of Directors and tutors weekly with Heart Math Tutoring. She is a graduate of Leadership Charlotte.
